I have been sitting on this post for awhile, I really hate wrapping up posts on friend & family visits, because it is hard to know when I will see them again, when another post toasting to their awesomeness will arise...more adventures for us to go on together...when will they be?!
But then Dr. Seuss comes to mind, saying
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened"
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened"
I'm so happy we had this time together, I'll stay smiling about it for awhile...
Our last week included:
Delicious sushi hidden a top the Shinsagae Mall, a wonderful find.
We had many traditional options that rolled past us on the sushi trolly, and then a few orders of eel, fish cheek, and flounder. I liked all but the fish cheek, just a bit too chewy, a bit too cheeky? Yes...I went there.
There was an exploration of the fabulous fabric market, and a freezing walk through a new neighborhood.
We laughed our bums off in a photo booth...
...enjoyed some tasty Spanish tapas, which inspired me for maybe a trip of my own to the country of origin! Ole!
Ry & I decided to take C to one final dinner as a trio, of three-o!
What better than boo-day-che-gay, or "trash stew" filled with amazing ramen, hot dogs, and a whole bunch of red pepper paste. Christie fit right in to our Swoboda family operations, from teeth brushing together at night, recapping our "favorites" of the day, cooking meals, playing wahoo~ and she taught us the value of the "mud mud" or lil morning nap;)
Tomorrow we'll jaunt off on the final hike, but for the past month it has been back to just us two. Christie, we really loved having our little family expanded with YOU!
I loved hanging with the both of you! I need to remake that soldier soup at home. It's still pretty chilly at night and I know the SPAM will be a hit with mom and pops! Love you guys and miss you..Xoxo, Christie
