I do not know HOW we squeezed as much into only 48 hours of Seoul-time, but we did! I guess Christie gives my battery that extra BOOST that has me running on and on like the energizer bunny!
After a hike round the Han River Friday night, a day lunch in Insadong, a walk through the Hanok Village AND a night out in Hongdae~
Sunday we suited up for yet another HIKE to the top of Namsan Mountain!
The snow was shimmering, and the sun gave us just enough warmth on our cheeks to push us forward, running up the path when we needed to break a sweat and keep our muscles warm.
Pausing for the community water fountain and cup~
Refreshing!
Even though our breath came out in cloudy puffs, we smiled as the city spread out beneath us.
I love that my C is both girly AND active, ready for anything!
Ready for even a leap with the tower in sight!
And we were both ready to shove down a delightful burger at the top,
Just rewards for a walk well done!
Christie was able to fill out a special lock for her and her special man, "D" :)
We almost couldn't find our family's lock pile, but in the last few seconds of trying we located it, and I couldn't be more thankful. I need everyone up there together!
Christie snapped herself into place with Dad&Mama Crabtree, Ma&Pops Swo, and soon, we'll be leaving our Ry and Linds lock!
A bench built for two FABULOUS ladies
Christie also brought a memorable scarf up to the top, but I'll save that story for her telling on her blog, Christie Time.
Before our fingers and faces turned completely blue, we rushed down the opposite side of the mountain...
and by "rushed" I seriously mean we ran for our lives! We were SO cold!!
We sprinted down, found the nearest subway and booked it to the bath house.
There we changed into our cute spa-jammies and soaked our cares away, just in time to get ready to pack again, and head off to...
Destination: Singapore!
It looks like you're having a ton of fun!!
