Highlander Christmas!

As I try to catch up to the New Year, I'm left chasing down Christmas day.  I was very fortunate to spend a merry and bright holiday with a great group of friends.  I was thankful for several lovely invites for the special day (the honey was working) and I had originally intended on going around to several homes.  However I got snuggly at Gill's, and just had to stay the whole day wrapped up in love and friendship!
Gill is Scottish, our token lady with divine accent and cooking skills!
I learned to decorate my first Yule Log, a tradition in her home.  I love these international Christmases, where everyone brings their favorite memories to the table.
A wee boy was dressed smashingly for the occasion,

A GRAND turkey had been prepped for our meal.
(seriously the best turkey I have ever eaten, all due to the master mind chef, seen on the left below)
And friends, friends, friends filled the air with laughter.

Holiday socks for the special day,

And smiles lit up our faces as we dined and dished.
It was a perfect celebration with some of my most favorite people.  Each holiday here in Korea has been saturated in love and the treasure that people really do want to help one another have a special day no matter where they are.
Thank you to Gill and J. for a fantastic day!
