I've been very lucky this week to catch some much-needed gal pal time in with my Seoul ladies! The weather has definitely cleared up over the past week, but with the burst of sunshine has brought a blast of COLD! Victoria and I knew a hang-out session was in the works, and brought it close to home for a cozy evening cooking dinner in my kitchen and sipping a little vino.
V brought a DELICIOUS cake with her from Paris Baguette, which apparently was named the "Romance Cake". The salesperson didn't miss the chance to mention this to Victoria with a subtle smile and raised eyebrows. We had a good laugh over our role as each other's "lovahs" for the evening.
We made a cherry tomato sauce with homemade meatballs, and devoured the amazing imported Italian pasta Christie brought with her as part of my Christmas prezzie! Thanks C;) More Christie Time posts are coming soon, I had to take a little break to gather my thoughts and photos of our adventures!
When the Man came home, he was more than happy to have a home-cooked meal at the ready, and V captured us (pro photographer eye that she has!) snuggled up to share some funny videos;)
This winter can at times pull me down in the dumps, but with great friends, a warm home, and a bustling city to explore all around me, I'm hanging in there just fine. Cheers to wonderful girl's night's out, and also IN!
